420 SKATESTORE OPENS IN HULL

420 Skatestore has opened a new skateboard shop in Hull.

The store – selling the latest skating clothing, footwear and accessories – opened its doors in Saville Street, in the city centre, on July 1.

It was quite an event with 100s of the city’s skateboarders visiting the shop to peruse and purchase the latest skate gear.

“It’s just what we need here,” said local skater Josh Dylan.

“They have a fantastic range and the shop has a great vibe.”

Hull is something of a hotbed for skateboarding at the moment with hefty investments earmarked for its growing number of skate parks and the council itself keen for the city to become known as ‘skate friendly’.

420 Skatestore owner Darren Manley is keen to capitalise on this movement.

“The skating scene in Hull is buzzing at the moment so it was an obvious and exciting place to open our newest store.

“And so far we’ve had a fantastic response to the store,” he said.

420 Skatestore now has shops across the country including York, Cwmbran , Newton Abbot and Oxford.

They sell skate hardware, clothing, footwear, headwear, go pro cameras, graffiti supplies, skins, vaporizers and plenty more.

Plus brands such as Palace, Huf and Diamond Supply and also street wear labels like Dephect, Crooks & Castles, The Hundreds, King Apparel, Black Scale.
